A&E Awning 8481000 Hardware Parts

| Hardware, in rv "awning speak" hardware refers to the mounting brackets and arms that
attach your awning to your coach and are used to roll & unroll it. For more information
click here.
A&E models 8000, 8500, 9000 share the same hardware, 8000 is the original release of this awning, 8500 parts may be used to replace 8000 hardware, there are some differences however. Bottom mounting brackets are only available in the current configuration, rafter arms must be replaced as a set, as the construction of the main and secondary rafters has been reversed, this applies to early 8500 and 9000 models as well. |

Use the specification chart above to identify your hardware. The lengths of the various arm and rafter sections will indicate your hardware version. The height range measurement is taken from the awning rail to the bottom mounting point. This is important if you are ordering a complete hardware set. Heavy Duty hardware is used primarily on 22 to 25 foot awnings and normally includes 1 tension rafter with ground support. As tension rafters and ground supports may be used on any size awning they do not indicate heavy duty hardware. Painted hardware parts are also available, specify the color needed. About colors: satin = gray, polar white = snow white |
